How Our Union Works

The MGEU is structured to be democratic, dynamic, responsive, and strong

The MGEU is a democratically-run organization. Any member of the union can achieve the highest office of the union.

Every two years, members nominate and elect fellow members to perform two key functions on their behalf:

a. provide ongoing governance and service

b. negotiate with the employer
