Every two years, the MGEU holds its biennial Convention in October, which determines the Union’s direction for the next twenty-four months. The 61st convention takes place this October 22 and 23 at the Winnipeg Convention Centre.
In September, each of the MGEU’s 200+ Locals elect a delegate(s) to attend Convention as their representative(s). At Convention, it’ll be their job to elect the Union Executive (President, 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th Vice-Presidents).
