Safety, Health & Environment Committee

Consisting of a Chairperson (elected by and from the Board of Directors) and one member elected by each Area Council, this committee educates members regarding safety and health issues and helps create and maintain workplace health and safety and health committees in all workplaces where members are employed. The committee is also charged with promoting environmentally responsible practices within the Union, amongst its members, at members’ workplaces and within the community.
