If it's fair for MLAs, it's fair for MPI Workers
Over 1,700 MPI workers across the province are on strike because Premier Heather Stefanson and her government continue to refuse to lift their unfair, restrictive wage mandate that is stifling contract negotiations.
These workers are simply asking for a fair deal with wage increases that help them keep up with the soaring cost of living. That’s what the Premier and her MLAs have taken for themselves (3.3 per cent this year, and a further 3.6 per cent in each of 2024 and 2025).
Send a message to Premier Heather Stefanson, Kelvin Goertzen (Minister responsible for Manitoba Public Insurance), and James Teitsma (Minister responsible for the Manitoba Public Service) to tell them that front-line workers deserve fairness too.
