LATEST BARGAINING NEWS
The Dakota Ojibway Child and Family Services - Locals 435, 436 and 437 Bargaining Committee reached a tentative agreement with the employer on January 12, 2023.
Members will now have an opportunity to vote on the agreement. Please stay tuned for when the ratification vote meeting has been scheduled.
The Committee is recommending that members accept the offer.
Overview of Bargaining So Far
Members of Dakota Ojibway Child and Family Services - Locals 435, 436 and 437 had an opportunity to put forward their ideas and proposals for improving their collective agreement at a meeting held on February 22, 2021.
The Bargaining Committee then worked to pull together a proposals package to present to the employer.
The Bargaining Committee exchanged
proposals with the employer on April 22, 2021. However, the employer
had no mandate to negotiate monetary terms, so this delayed progress
at the table.
The Dakota Ojibway Child and Family Services - Locals 435, 436 and 437 Bargaining Committee and the employer resumed negotiations in October 2022.
