Tech/Prof Locals deliver decisive strike mandate
The ballots were counted yesterday and MGEU Technical/Professional members have delivered a strong strike mandate to their Bargaining Committee. “Our members have waited long enough and deserve to be treated with respect for their hard work. The last five years in health care have been an immense struggle,” said MGEU President Kyle Ross. “It’s time for our members to get a good deal.”

MGEU presents on new Bill to extend presumptive coverage to forest firefighters
Last night at the Legislature, the MGEU presented on Bill 25, which when passed into law, will expand the presumptive Workers Compensation Board (WCB) coverage to include forest firefighters who work in Manitoba’s Wildfire Service.
