Over 100 Canadian Blood Services members in Winnipeg and Brandon (Local 200 and 400) ratified a new two-year collective agreement last night. The evaluation of job classifications negotiated in this agreement will begin immediately.
An Essential Services Agreement will have to be negotiated prior to the expiry of this collective agreement on March 31, 2014. The bargaining committee will be meeting with the employer on July 30th, 2013 to continue that process.
