This afternoon MGEU Local 212 members voted to accept a new agreement with their employer – Family Dynamics.
The new four-year contract includes a general salary increase of 1.25 %, 2 % and 2.75 % in October of the second, third and fourth years of the agreement. It also contains improved contract language regarding term employment and temporary vacancies as well as enhanced vacation accrual rates, increased mileage rates and the addition of vision care to the benefits package.
The bargaining committee encourages Local 212 members to update their contact information to ensure they receive a copy of the new contract once it’s printed.
