On Wednesday, September 17th, the Canadian Blood Services bargaining committee (Local 200 & 400) reached a tentative 3-year agreement with the employer.
Details of the agreement will be mailed out to all members with the meeting notices and ballots in the next few weeks.
The ratification
vote will take place by mail-in ballot, but members can choose to bring their
ballots and vote at information meetings which will be held on October 14th
in Winnipeg and October 15th in Brandon. Ballots will be counted on
October 16th in Winnipeg.
In the meantime, members of Locals 200 and 400 are encouraged to update their contact information to ensure they receive a copy of the new contract once available.
