Knowles Centre members ratify four-year agreement

Today, MGEU members of Knowles Centre Local 172 ratified a new four-year agreement which will be in effect until March 31, 2018.
The contract includes a wage increase of 2.0% in each year of the agreement (retroactive to April 2014) and improvements to compassionate leave.
The Bargaining Committee will now contact the employer to get the agreement finalized and signed before it’s printed and distributed to members. In the meantime, members of the Local are encouraged to update their contact information to ensure they receive a copy of the new contract once it is available.
