Yesterday evening, a strong majority of members from Family Dynamics Community Staff, Local 214, voted to accept a new collective agreement.
The new 3-year deal runs from October 1, 2014 – September 30, 2017 and provides a 2% wage increase in each year of the agreement.
The agreement also included new language around staff development including training, support groups, conferences, conventions, seminars and workshops.
The bargaining committee encourages Local 214 members to update their contract information to ensure they receive a copy of the new contract once it's printed.
