MGEU members that work at Brandon University (Local 135) ratified a new four-year contract yesterday.

Their new contract (effective April 1, 2016 – March 31, 2020) includes general wage increases in each year of the agreement, improvements to the health spending account, and the renewal of the employment security clause.

Now that the contract is ratified, the Brandon University Bargaining Committee will be meeting with their employer to finalize and then sign the agreement for printing and distribution to members.
