After three years without a new contract, members of Macdonald Youth Services, Northern/Alternative Parent Home Program (Local 369) have ratified a new four-year agreement.
Wages within the new agreement are based on an interest arbitration decision awarded this past July, in which the arbitrator decided to provide Local 369 members with increases in each of the four years. It also includes a number of changes to contract language, which the Local negotiated with their employer and members voted to accept last week.
Members are encouraged to make sure the union has their most current contact information in order to receive a copy of their new collective agreement once it’s been finalized and signed.
