Subsequent to members of Paramedics of Winnipeg - Local 911 ratifying a new collective agreement with the employer on April 24, 2018, members of Winnipeg City Council officially voted to accept the 4-year deal today.

It was a long and tough round of bargaining. When members rejected an initial offer from the employer in fall 2017, the Bargaining Committee applied for arbitration only to have the Minister for Growth, Enterprise and Trade suggest both sides should return to the table and resume meaningful negotiations.

The  Bargaining Committee reached a tentative agreement with the employer in mid-April 2018.

Members are encouraged to make sure the union has their most current contact information in order to receive a copy of their collective agreement.
