Members of Knowles Centre (Supported Enhancement to Independent Living) - Local 432, who help youth living in care of the child welfare system to gain the skills and competencies they need to gradually transition to living independently in the community, ratified a new two-year agreement last night.

Highlights include an additional five days vacation for full-time members (pro-rated for part-time) and improvements to paid leave provisions.

The Bargaining Committee encourages members who have not yet signed a membership application form to contact the MGEU Resource Centre to ensure they receive a copy of the collective agreement once it’s printed.
