YWCA Westman Women’s Shelter – Local 171 ratifies new agreement

Members of Brandon's YWCA Westman Women’s Shelter – Local 171, who assist women and children who’ve left their homes because of domestic violence, ratified a new four-year agreement on June 17, 2022.

Highlights include wage increases in each year of the agreement, an additional discretionary day, increases to two premiums, and pandemic language achieved.

Members are encouraged to make sure the union has their most current contact information in order to receive a copy of their collective agreement.
