MGEU Member Info Sessions scheduled for April and May

Are you an MGEU member interested in learning more about “what” or “who” your union is and where you fit into all of it?
The MGEU’s You and Your Union Membership Information Sessions are returning this spring to help MGEU members find out just that.
Designed for those who are curious about how their union works on a day-to-day basis, these one-day sessions – which are being held in-person in each of the union’s geographic Areas – explore the union’s diverse membership and the key functions of elected leaders, staff, and members.
The sessions are available to any member who has never held an elected union position (including safety and health reps who don’t hold another union position) and the MGEU provides paid union leave to members who wish to attend the session in their region but would normally be scheduled to work at that time.
