Members of Metis Child and Family Services - Local 383, who work to strengthen the capacity of families to care for children through culturally relevant community-based programs, ratified a new two-year agreement tonight.

Highlights include wage increases in each year of the agreement (retroactive pay to be processed within 60 days of ratification) and improvements to sick bank accrual, evening premiums, and employer pension plan contributions.

Members are encouraged to make sure the union has their most current contact information in order to receive a copy of their new collective agreement once it is available.
