This afternoon, members of Unionware Local 193 unanimously voted to accept a new 4-year contract which includes wage increases in each year as well as new language on travel compensation, performance appraisals and maternity leave.
The MGEU bargaining committee will be working with the employer to get the agreement finalized and signed before it’s printed and distributed to Unionware members. In the meantime, members of Local 193 are encouraged to update their contact information to ensure they receive a copy of the new contract once available.
