• Aug 05, 2022 - IERHA and PMH Health Care Support Info Sessions Start August 8 and 15; Voting Opens August 12
  

  The Bargaining Committee’s for MGEU’s Community Support and Health Care Support Services in PMH and IERHA began making plans for holding information sessions and ratification votes began immediately after receiving offers from the employers. All info sessions and electronic voting information has been sent out to the membership.

  Late yesterday, the MGEU’s Health Care Support Bargaining Committees achieved tentative agreements on behalf of Prairie Mountain Health and Interlake Eastern RHA support staff who work in health care facilities and throughout the community.

• Jul 26, 2022 - Rod McGillivary Memorial Care Home ratifies new agreement
  

  Members of Opaskwayak Cree Nation's Rod McGillivary Memorial Care Home – Local 447, who provide personal care to the elderly and disabled, ratified a new three-year agreement on July 25, 2022.

• Jul 22, 2022 - MGEU Mourns the Passing of Bob Bayer
  

  We are very sad to share the news that our friend and former colleague, Bob Bayer, passed away on July 9, 2022, at Riverview Health Centre. A celebration of life will be held tomorrow, July 23, 2022, at Club Laverendrye (614 Des Meurons St.) at 2:30 pm.

• Jul 21, 2022 - Manitoba Arts Council ratifies new agreement
  

  Members of the Manitoba Arts Council - Local 444, who support the study, enjoyment, production and performance of artistic works in our province, ratified a new four-year agreement today.

• Jul 13, 2022 - Sandy Bay Ojibway First Nation - Local 354 ratifies new agreement
  

  Members of Sandy Bay Ojibway First Nation - Local 354 ratified a new collective agreement last night. The contract includes a wage increase - retroactive to November 2021, language improvements on inclement weather and term positions, and a classification and increment review to ensure members are paid correctly.

  Members of Liquor, Gaming and Cannabis Authority of Manitoba - Local 425 and 426, who provide licensing and enforcement services for our province's liquor, gaming, cannabis and horse racing industries, ratified a new five-year agreement last night.

• Jun 28, 2022 - CFS Central Supervisors Ratify New Agreement
  

  On Monday, June 27, MGEU 264 - CFS Central Manitoba Supervisors, who work out of Portage la Prairie and Winkler, ratified a new four-year collective agreement.

• Jun 20, 2022 - CFS Central Manitoba Support ratifies four-year agreement
  

  On Friday, June 17, MGEU Local 265 - CFS Central Manitoba Support members – who provide administrative support for the Child and Family Services agency working out of Portage la Prairie and Winkler – ratified a new four-year collective agreement.
