LATEST BARGAINING NEWS
The Manitoba Possible - Local 262 Bargaining Committee resumed negotiations with the employer on January 8 and 22, 2020 and continued remotely on March 19 and April 15, 2020.
The Bargaining Committee and the employer have finished discussions around non-monetary issues such as working conditions and contract language They have now moved onto monetary issues, such as wages and benefits. The Committee is waiting to hear back from the employer expects to have something to bring back to the membership soon.
Overview of Bargaining So Far
Members of Manitoba Possible - Local 262 had an opportunity to put forward their ideas and proposals for a new collective agreement at a proposal meeting on June 4, 2019.
The Bargaining Committee then worked to pull together these proposals into a package to present to the employer.
The Bargaining Committee began negotiations with the employer on September 20, 2019, and bargaining continued on October 4, 10 and 18, 2019.
