Western Manitoba Regional Library ratifies new agreement

Members of the Western Manitoba Regional Library - Local 202 in Brandon ratified a new five-year agreement last night.

Highlights include wage increases in each year of the agreement, a special minimum wage adjustment, an increase to the Heath Spending Account for those working at least thirty hours per week, and the introduction of two personal leave days.

The Bargaining Committee encourages members who have not yet signed a membership application form to contact the MGEU Resource Centre to ensure they receive a copy of the collective agreement once it’s printed.
