The Metis Child and Family Services Authority - Local 394 who work to strengthen the capacity of Metis families to care for children through culturally relevant community-based programs, ratified a new four-year agreement yesterday.

Highlights include wage increases with retroactive pay, increases to employer retirement savings contributions, to sick leave accrual, as well as the introduction of ceremonial, cultural or religious leave.

Members are encouraged to make sure the union has their most current contact information in order to receive a copy of their new collective agreement once it is available.
