Members of Sara Riel Inc, who support individuals with mental health and substance use/addiction challenges in a safe, inclusive and engaging environment, ratified a new four-year agreement yesterday.

Highlights include lump sum payments based on wages and hours worked over the course of the agreement (April 1, 2020 to April 1, 2023), as well as a commitment from the employer to immediately resume negotiations for new wage increases. 

The agreement also includes increases to mileage and meal reimbursement and improved leave policies.

Members are encouraged to make sure the union has their most current contact information in order to receive a copy of their new collective agreement once it is available.
