Members of Parkland Crisis Centre - Local 170, who provide safe, non-judgmental, and confidential support services to women and children who are fleeing intimate partner abuse in Dauphin, ratified a new collective agreement last night.

Highlights include wage increases in each year of the agreement, increases to mileage and meal allowances, and improvements to compassionate, maternity, and vacation leave.

MGEU negotiators will now work with the employer to finalize and sign-off the document. Members are encouraged to make sure the union has their most current contact information in order to receive a link to their new collective agreement once it is available.
