Members of Winnipeg Paramedics - Local 911 ratified a new three-year agreement last night.

After a tough round of negotiations that nearly proceeded to arbitration, the deal includes wage increases (retroactive to the start of the agreement) as well as improvements to vacation, increased shift premiums, and the introduction of personal wellness days.

Now that the agreement has been accepted by Local 911 members, it will proceed to City Council for final approval.

Members are encouraged to make sure the union has their most current contact information in order to receive a copy of their new collective agreement once it is available.
