Here at the MGEU, our elected Local leaders are an integral part of making our union the best it can be. Each year, they're encouraged to take advantage of a wide range of educational opportunities, from Basic Health and Safety Training to Public Speaking to Building a Respectful Workplace.
Elected Reps can now review the newly released 2023-24 Membership Education Course Guide and log into their account on THE SOURCE, to register. They should also watch their inbox or mailbox for news of courses for which they're eligible.
For those who don’t hold an elected position, You and Your Union sessions -- designed for those MGEU members who are curious about exactly how their union works on a day-to-day basis -- will also be returning in 2023-24.
Any eligible member wishing to register for one of these sessions (see page 7 of the Membership Education Course Guide for details) can contact the MGEU Resource Centre.
