Members of Family Dynamics - Local 214, who provide a range of supports to Manitoba families, from in-home support to parent coaching and counselling to family resource centres, ratified a new three-year collective agreement last night.

In December, members rejected a final offer from the employer and delivered a strong strike mandate to their Bargaining Committee. The two sides returned to the table and a tenative agreement was reached on January 18, 2024.

Highlights include wage increases of 3.0%, 2.5%, and 2.0%, with an additional two steps of 3% for Support Workers.

Members are encouraged to make sure the union has their most current contact information in order to receive a copy of their new collective agreement once it is available.
