Members of Knowles Centre - Local 172, who support young people and their families to address past struggles and develop healthier relationships and ways of life, have ratified a new five-year agreement.

Members will receive general wage increases of 3%, 3%, and 2% over the last three years of the five-year agreement. In addition, two pay steps will be added to the top of each pay scale and members will be placed two steps higher on the new scales.

Members who worked in 2021 and 2022 will also be eligible to receive lump sum payments equivalent to 2% of wages. These members can also choose instead to take up to two weeks of additional vacation in lieu of these lump sum payments.

In a message sent to members of the Local, the Bargaining Committee thanked everyone for their patience, support, and solidarity during this extremely difficult round of bargaining.

Members are encouraged to make sure the union has their most current contact information in order to receive a link to their new collective agreement once it is available.
