The Manitoba Liberals have unveiled an economic strategy that emphasizes higher wages, better jobs, and safer workplaces as a way of getting Manitobans working in other provinces to return home. The plan includes the creation of a fund to assist small- and medium-sized businesses and increased research and development assistance. It would also see personal income taxes reduced and the payroll tax eliminated.
