Manitoba’s Correctional Officers will be holding an information picket commencing at noon today (more information can be found by clicking the links below). All participating Corrections employees are being asked to meet at the Winnipeg Convention Centre at 11am. We will be moving from there to the steps of the Manitoba Legislature along a predetermined route.
A bus will be leaving the MGEU Office in Brandon (930 Lorne Avenue) at 8 am sharp, and will be stopping in Portage la Prairie (214 Saskatchewan Ave E.) at approximately 9:45am. Members in The Pas or Dauphin who are looking for transportation can call the Resource Centre or speak to their Area Bargaining Committee member. Those coming in from areas closer to Winnipeg can park at the Convention Centre parkade (your parking fee will be taken care of by MGEU).
