Three negotiation meetings have been scheduled in March.
Discussions regarding the Essential Services Agreement (ESA) almost complete. The ESA is typically finalized before any bargaining dates can be scheduled, however in this instance, it is being developed at the same time as bargaining.
Overview of Bargaining So Far
Members of End Homelessness Winnipeg - Local 439 had an opportunity to put forward their ideas and proposals for their next collective agreement at a local meeting on June 19, 2025.
The proposal meeting on June 19, 2025 went well and the bargaining committee was established at that meeting.
The Bargaining Committee and the employer began negotiations on December 18, 2025 by exchanging proposal packages. A second negotiations meeting was held on January 8, 2026.
At the request of the employer, bargaining was paused until March 2026.
