The MGEU operates throughout Manitoba and is located on the traditional territory of the Anishinaabeg, Anishininiwak, Ininiwak, Nehethowuk, Dakota, Dene, and Métis people.

Our primary office is located on Treaty 1 Territory and the homeland of the Red River Métis. Our work extends throughout Treaties 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, and 10. We acknowledge that Winnipeg's water is sourced from Shoal Lake 40 First Nation.

We respect the Treaties made on these territories. We dedicate ourselves to move forward with Indigenous communities in a spirit of reconcilliation and collaboration to make Manitoba an inclusive and accessible place for everyone who lives here.
