LATEST BARGAINING NEWS
On May 4, 2026, members voted to ratify a new three-year collective agreement (effective November 12, 2025 - November 13, 2028).
Highlights of the new agreement include:
- New memorandum of understanding for health benefits review process after ratification
- Three hours of pay for shifts cancelled during the posted schedule
- Minimum wage for sleepover shifts for periods of rest or sleep
- Sick leave accruals during probation
The next step in concluding the collective agreement is to work with the employer to finalize and sign-off the document, which could take some time.

Overview of Bargaining So Far
Members of ROSE Inc. - Local 376 had an opportunity to put forward their ideas and proposals for improving their collective agreement on September 4, 2025.
The Bargaining Committee created a proposal package that was exchanged with the employer once bargaining started.
Developing an Essential Services Agreement to determine essential functions was required and the was the first step in the bargaining process.
Bargaining began in mid-December 2025. In January and February 2026, discussions focused on monetary items.
On April 28, 2026, the Bargaining Committee reached a tentative agreement with the employer. They are recommending acceptance of this offer.
An in-person ratification vote took place on May 4, 2026.
