LATEST BARGAINING NEWS
Preparations for the next round of GOLICO (Locals 56-61) bargaining are underway—starting with the collection of bargaining proposals.
All members of the Component are encouraged to submit a proposal at a Local meeting this fall or put forward a proposal electronically using this online form.
To fill out the form online, select “09 - GOLICO” from the “Component” drop-down menu and then select your Local and Area (Local 56-The Pas/Thompson and area; Local 57-Dauphin and area; Local 58-Brandon and area; Local 59-Portage and area; Local 60 Selkirk/Steinbach and area; Local 61-Winnipeg) from the drop-down options below that.
The deadline to submit an online proposal has been extended to Friday, January 16, 2025.
Once all proposals have been collected, the Bargaining Committee will meet to review them and put together a comprehensive bargaining package. When that's complete, the Committee and the employer will exchange their proposal packages before negotiations begin.
