LATEST BARGAINING NEWS
On October 21, 2025, members ratified a new three-year collective agreement (effective November 16, 2024 - November 15, 2027).
Highlights of the new agreement include:
- General wage increases in each year of the agreement
- One-time retention and signing bonuses
- Several language improvements were made to the collective agreement to align with practices and provide clarity
The next step is to work with the employer to finalize and sign the collective agreement, which can take some time. We will also confirm when retroactive wages and payment of the bonuses can be expected.
We encourage you to make sure the MGEU has your current contact information to receive a link to your new collective agreement once it is available.
