MGEU is a democratic union. By running for a position, or participating in elections, you are shaping the leadership team of the union. We hope to see you at our in-person elections meeting!

To vote, members must complete an MGEU membership application. If you haven't yet, you can fill out the form at www.mgeu.ca, or you can complete a paper application at the meeting.

1. Elections (Elected positions are for a two-year term commencing October 26, 2025.)

Important Information About Nominations and Voting:

Nominations will be done at the start of the meeting. If you are interested in running for a position, you must find another member to nominate you, and they must be present at the start of the meeting to make the nomination. You as the candidate must either be in attendance to accept the nomination or have sent an email to resourcecentre@mgeu.ca before the meeting to advise the staff representative that you will allow your name to stand.

Voting will start after nominations close.
Voting will close at 4:00 PM.
