On Friday, June 17, MGEU Local 265 - CFS Central Manitoba Support members – who provide administrative support for the child and family services agency working out of Portage la Prairie and Winkler – ratified a new four-year collective agreement.

Highlights include wage increases in each year of the agreement, increases to the Health Spending Account, improvements to Maternity Leave, and the addition of new contract language concerning Adoptive Parent Leave.

The Bargaining Committee encourages members who have not yet signed a membership application form, or need to update their home or email addresses, to contact the MGEU Resource Centre to ensure they receive a copy of the new collective agreement once it is finalized.
