Members of St. Amant (Community Residential Programs) - Locals 178 and 459, who provide round-the-clock residential care for adults with physical and developmental disabilities, ratified a new collective agreement today.
After delivering a strong strike mandate to their Bargaining Committee at the beginning of August, the employer requested a return to the table and provided a new, significantly improved offer.
Highlights include wage increases in each year of the agreement plus additional wage market adjustment for all classifications, increases to the Health Spending Account and Sleep-Over Premium, and a signing bonus.
Members are encouraged to make sure the union has their most current contact information in order to receive a copy of their new collective agreement once it is available.
