On September 18, 2024, members of MGEU Local 446: Duke of Marlborough School in Churchill, who provide important supports to students and teachers, ratified a new three-year collective agreement.
The new agreement includes wage increases in each of the three years as well as a Memorandum of Agreement to conduct a remoteness and travel allowance review. The next step includes working with the employer to finalize and sign-off the document.
Members are encouraged to make sure the union has their current contact information to receive a link to their new collective agreement once it is available.
