On March 26, 2025 members at Sara Riel – Local 353 voted to ratify a new one-year collective agreement (effective April 1, 2024 – March 31, 2025). These members provide mental health and substance use/addiction support services in Winnipeg.
The new agreement includes a lump sum payment calculated as a percentage of hours paid during the period of the agreement.
The next step in concluding the collective agreement is to work with the employer to finalize and sign-off the document, which could take some time. Members are encouraged to make sure the union has their current contact information to receive a link to their new collective agreement once it is available.
Bargaining for the next agreement will begin shortly.
