On November 26, 2025, members of Western Manitoba Regional Library Local 202 voted to accept a new four-year collective agreement (effective January 1, 2026 to December 31, 2029).
Highlights of the collective agreement include:
- General wage increases in each year of the agreement
- Increase to health spending account
- Employer paid wellness days
- Improvement to full-time/overtime requirements
The next step is to work with the employer to finalize and sign the collective agreement, which can take some time. The agreement will come into effect starting January 1, 2026.
