On February 3, 2026, MGEU members at Duke of Marlborough School (Local 446) ratified a new four-year collective agreement (effective July 1, 2025 - June 30, 2029).
Highlights of the new agreement include:
- General wage increases in each year of the agreement
- Letter of understanding regarding unpaid Educational Assistant days
- Increase to annual remote allowance. This was negotiated prior to this tentative agreement and has now been implemented.
The next step in concluding the collective agreement is to work with the employer to finalize and sign-off the document, which could take some time.
