On February 21, 2026, MGEU members of Seine River School Division Educational Assistants voted to accept a new three-year collective agreement (effective July 1, 2025 - June 30, 2028). These members support students in developing social, life and learning skills.
Highlights of the new agreement include:
- Retroactive pay to start of agreement
- Additional vacation after 15 years of service
The next step in concluding the collective agreement is to work with the employer to finalize and sign-off the document, which could take some time.
