Yesterday, members of End Homelessness Winnipeg - Local 439, who work to create lasting solutions to prevent and end homelessness, voted to ratify a new two-year and 10-month collective agreement (effective June 2, 2025 - March 31, 2028).
Highlights of the new agreement include:
- Annual wage increases;
- Improvements to bereavement leave; and
- Improvements to sick leave.
The next step in concluding the collective agreement is to work with the employer to finalize and sign-off the document, which could take some time.
