LATEST BARGAINING NEWS
The South East CFS - Local 395 Bargaining Committee met with the employer and the two sides exchanged proposals packages in early 2024. Since then, discussions have centred around non-monetary items, like contract language and working conditions, which the Committee expects to conclude fairly quickly. Further negotiations took place in March 2024, when talks moved on to monetary items, such as wages and benefits.

Overview of Bargaining
Members of South East CFS - Local 395 had an opportunity to put forward their ideas and proposals for improving their collective agreement on at meeting on March 16, 2023.
The Bargaining Committee then put together a proposal package and requested dates to commence bargaining with the employer.
