On October 4, 2024 members voted to accept the four-year agreement.
Highlights of the new agreement include:
- A new salary scale retroactive to January 1, 2024 and general wage increases in each year of the agreement
- Improvements to the health care spending account
- A recognition and retention bonus
- Increases to vacation time
Overview of Bargaining So Far
Members of Winnipeg Clinic - Local 363 had an opportunity to put forward their ideas and proposals for improving their collective agreement at a Local meeting in January 2024.
The Committee then worked to pull together these proposals into a bargaining package and exchanged the package with the employer on April 29, 2024.
Discussions initially focused on non-monetary proposals that address some of the workplace issues/challenges members are facing.
Negotiations then moved into monetary proposals to discuss things like wages and benefits.
On September 9, 2024 the Bargaining Committee reached a tentative agreement with the employer and recommended acceptance to members.
A ratification vote took place on October 4 and members voted to accept the new agreement.
