Please be advised that as a result of the 4% Temporary Affordability Support for Employees ending on March 31, 2024, the Employer and the Union entered into discussion to try and reach an agreement on some way to prevent the scheduled reduction in salaries come April 1, 2024.

Please see the attached MOA which outlines what has been agreed to for presenting to the membership to vote to accept or decline at the March 14, 2024, meeting.

To clarify, the general wage increases referenced in the attached document will only come into force if a majority of the membership who cast a ballot at the meeting support the offer.

Should the membership not accept the offer wages will be adjusted to the first salary scale which includes a 1.5% wage increase and no further changes will occur unless otherwise negotiated during the next round of bargaining
