manitoba apprenticeship awards of distinction

Red River College Instructor and MGEU member, Barry Chetyrbok, was recognized last night as Instructor of the Year at the Manitoba Apprenticeship Awards of Distinction.

The awards, which traditionally follow Apprenticeship Recognition Week (November 3-9, 2014), recognize and celebrate the outstanding contributions that employers, journeypersons and instructors make to the Manitoba Apprenticeship training system.

Award recipients are nominated by industry stakeholders, employers, colleagues, friends and family members. The awards also acknowledge the support and commitment of Provincial Advisory Committee and Apprenticeship and Certification Board members.
