Tonight, the ballots were counted and the IERHA Technical Professional Paramedical (TP/EMS) Locals (411 and 418) have ratified the employer's final offer.
The vote result ends a very busy summer for Locals 411 and 418. After two years without a contract, the MGEU TP/EMS Bargaining Committee held information pickets throughout the region and received a strike mandate from members in July before requesting that the employer return to the bargaining table. On August 31, the Committee received a final offer from the RHA and arranged ratification meetings with a recommendation to accept.
